CHAI-SPICED BANANA BREAD (SUGAR FREE)

Ingredients: (For 4 People)

  • 2 Ripe Bananas,
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Oil, melted.
  • 2 cups Whole Wheat flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. ground Cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. ground Nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped nuts or raisins for added texture and flavor

Instructions: 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, unsweetened applesauce, and melted coconut Mix well until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Cloves, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just Be careful not to overmix, as this can result in a dense loaf.
  5. If desired, fold in chopped nuts or raisins for added texture and flavor.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Once baked, remove the banana bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
  9. Slice the sugar-free chai-spiced banana bread and serve as a delightful treat for breakfast, snack, or dessert.
