Cinnamon-Sugar Toasted Almonds (Bonus)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole almonds
  • 1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine melted butter or coconut oil with the almonds, tossing to coat.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Add the cinnamon-sugar mixture to the almonds and toss until the almonds are well coated.
  4. Spread the almonds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Toast in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 8-10 minutes, stirring once or twice, until the almonds are golden and fragrant.
  6. Allow the almonds to cool before serving.

Tips:

  • Customize the flavors by adding a touch of vanilla extract or a sprinkle of nutmeg.
  • Use these cinnamon-sugar almonds as a topping for oatmeal, yogurt, or ice cream.
