Ginger-Soy Glazed Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, ground ginger, minced garlic, and olive oil to make the marinade.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the salmon fillets from the marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While grilling, baste the salmon with the remaining marinade to create a glaze.
  6. Transfer the Ginger-Soy Glazed Salmon to a serving platter, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve.

Tips:

  • For a touch of heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • Serve the salmon over a bed of steamed rice or a fresh salad.
