Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, crumbled queso fresco

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground lamb over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the ground cumin, ground paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet with the lamb. Stir well to coat the meat in the spices. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the shredded lettuce, chopped cilantro, mayonnaise, and lime juice. Mix well to make the cilantro lime slaw.
  4. Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  5. To assemble the tacos, place a spoonful of the seasoned ground lamb onto each tortilla. Top with the cilantro lime slaw and any optional toppings you desire.
  6. Serve the lamb tacos immediately and enjoy!
