Pork Stir-Fry with Vegetables

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • Assorted vegetables (such as bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snap peas)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Add the sliced pork and toss to coat. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the hot oil and stir-fry for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated pork to the skillet, reserving the marinade. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently until browned and cooked through. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the vegetables. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
  6. Return the cooked pork to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in the reserved marinade. Stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat everything through and allow the sauce to thicken slightly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the pork stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles.
  9. Enjoy this quick and flavorful pork stir-fry as a nutritious and satisfying meal.

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms, zucchini, or snow peas to the stir-fry.
